1/2 can black beans (15 oz. rinsed & drained)
1/2 can kidney beans (15 oz. rinsed & drained)
1 1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
1 red onion (chopped)
1 1/2 lb. ground turkey
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tbsp. tomato paste
1 green bell pepper (chopped)
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 can chopped tomatoes (28 oz.)
Heat oil in a skillet on medium.
Add and cook onions and peppers until soft.
Add and mix in ground turkey.
Cook turkey until cooked through or not pink.
Add and mix in garlic and tomato paste. and
Cook for around 2-5 minutes.
Pour mixture into a slow-cooker.
Add and mix in tomatoes, black beans, kidney beans, chicken broth, chili powder, cumin and oregano.
Set slow-cooker on high and cook for around 4-5 hours.
Evenly divide recipe into 12 servings. Let cool and eat immediately or pack up 1/12 of recipe to come close tot he given macros.
